John Paul Leon (1972–2021) worked in comics for over 30 years on a wide variety of projects. He is probably most known for his work on Earth X with Alex Ross, for Marvel and highly acclaimed creator owned series Wintermen. He also illustrated Static Shock for Milestone, Challengers of the Unknown, some Batman related projects, a Smallville: The Comic, DMZ Covers, X-Men: Logan one shot, and a number of fill in issues for titles like New X-Men, Weapon X, and Tom Strong #25.
