Rafael Kayanan's artwork has a quickened pace of storytelling with many things going on every page. He puts a lot of thought into choreographing action on each page and it shows with dynamic poses strung together. He picks the best snapshot of the action and puts it on the page no matter how difficult the perspective or proportions are to maintain from panel to panel. His slick and precision uses of shadows to define anatomy and emotion is as proficient as any of the long time masters of the craft.
