DescriptionSpain's incredible SANGRELLA sci fi story from Zap Comix #9. One of the most beautifully layed out pages, with awesome characters and space ships. Incredibly tight details all over, and a really interesting and stylized lettering. Spain did some of his best work in Zap and this story is a bit of a stylistic departure from the graphic tones of his Trashman art. Very cool pencil notes and doodles in the margins. Pen & ink and zipatone on paper (11.5 x 17.5 - CM: 29 x 44.5). |
