DescriptionCheck out this very nice SILVER AGE LARGE ART 1964 SGT. ROCK page, which was penciled and inked by the great Joe Kubert, from the story titled: "A Feather for Little Sure-Shot!" This nice page features an awesome final battle as Sure-Shot battles a German war plane as he finally blows it up! Compare this great page to the published comic book page in the red link above. In the 2nd panel the German plane's wheel was changed and the replacement piece was cut out back in 1964. SILVER AGE LARGE ART 1960s JOE KUBERT SGT. It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
