Description

This is the original hand painted color guide for the cover of the first publication of Swamp Thing #8 (1974/DC Comics). This is a watercolor painting by Jack Adler over a copy of Bernie Wrightson's artwork to indicate to the production colorists how to color the cover of Swamp Thing #8. The certificate of authenticity from the Adler estate is included with this. The size of the painting is 7" X 10+3/8". This was pasted and stapled to a larger piece of Strathmore board that measures 8" X 11". It's in excellent condition.
