I'm Travis from Aurora Colorado, and here is my collection so far. I've always been into comics even when I was young, my family simply didn't have the money to buy them. So I have kept the few from my childhood and remember borrowing all my friends before and after school. Falling back into this passion started from a security position offered in The Armory at DragonCon 2012 by Kevin Dockery where I met a really great group of guys that showed me around, introduced me to artists and really brought me into the scene. When I was a kid I had no idea of conventions so it was a HUGE learning experience! Shane Simek and Nick Romeo walked me through and were very eager to get me hooked again... they even warned me!! John Popa, and Andrew Varcho were amongst the team and had a blast with everyone, and for the record John Popa has a collection of vacation shirts to rival any retired Florida citizen, they are awesome! Needless to say I left the con with a handful of signed sketch books, The Punisher Circle of Blood hardcover, and a library of series books... I almost was overweight in my luggage flying home! haha. From there the passion reignited again, which lead me back to the comic store of my childhood and a list of reserved weekly titles! But that wasn't enough, I had to go back where I left off as a child and started ordering old issues and series that I had read years ago or things that I had wanted to read but never could. The comic art started in 2013, again at DragonCon. I had developed the taste for comics, refined what I was looking for and it was finally time to buy original art! It was as this time that I was offered a CranBoyz shirt and officially met Cran himself!! For those that don't know... he's a pretty big deal. haha! I continue to read and find new titles and make it to Cons when I can... I will say I have plenty of support from all the CranBoyz to keep me updated, and they're always pointing me in new directions of art and artists!! Thanks guys! So thats it... for now... Dun Dun Duuuuuuuuunnnnnnn!!!!
