Description

This was the cover for an issue of the SF pulp, Startling Stories. Bergey was one of the top SF artists of the 1940s and 1950s, and his work is surprisingly scarce. He honed his sexy gals with his work on the girlie pulps of the 1930s (where his work is often unsigned).

Great catch Doug! I almost pulled the trigger on this one myself a number of years ago when Albert Moy had it for sale! Oh well, at least I have the Startling Stories from May 1951....!
