I remember when this title when weekly AND to the 48-page format. I never really collected it in the first place, but they were putting up some spectacular covers to promote the book, so like an idiot I kept shelling out my $1.50 a week. This Bolland and my Kevin Nowlan cover are among the most memorable for me! Congrats!

Bolland's artistry conveys so much with so little. This cover is reminiscent of the old news photographs of women burning their bras in the 1960s, with Black Canary "liberating" herself from her old costume. Certainly she is not alone in her joy, as a woman in black bustier and fishnets wins out over a blue and black jumpsuit (with wings?) every time ; ) Congrats on acquiring yet another classic cover!
