DescriptionWhen I saw this piece on eBay, I felt it was "for me" . I'm a big Edgar Rice Burroughs fan, and I'd been waiting for what i thought might be "just the right Shane Glines piece." When I saw this piece I wondered if Shane had consciously been inspired by Jack Cole's pin-up work. He replied: "You asked about a Cole influence- it wasn't intentional, but I can see it. I think it's the blacked eyes, something Cole often did, especially in his earlier 'Jake' work." I received this from Shane Glines in March, 2006.Social/Sharing |
