So cool to see Jackson Butch Guice revisit these characters after all those years ! I love how his evolved style makes this scene even more epic than previous depictions !

Guice's style is one of those rare ones that got better with time. Some artists plateau. Some lose their touch. Guice was always great, but seeing his work now on these characters he worked on so long ago helps reify how his work has increasingly gotten stronger.

I love the kinetic energy of this battle; it jumps off the 2D page and feels real. I can almost hear the crackle of energy blasts charging and the blistering of the city buildings. Now I'd love to see this colored some day.
