Description

This was the first Mignola piece in my collection. Unpublished but beautiful and really speaks to his style of darkness and mystery. It will hold a place is my heart as the start of my
Mignola collection.

This cover image went unused for the series. It's a striking image in Mignola's bold chiaroscuro style. Ink over graphite on bright white Dark Horse Comics Bristol board with an image area of 9" x 15". Signed and dated 2014 in the image area, and signed again just under the image area.

Really fun how he uses broad strokes on the thin inks yet is delicate enough to have the white areas so detailed.
