DescriptionThis was the first Mignola piece in my collection. Unpublished but beautiful and really speaks to his style of darkness and mystery. It will hold a place is my heart as the start of myMignola collection. This cover image went unused for the series. It's a striking image in Mignola's bold chiaroscuro style. Ink over graphite on bright white Dark Horse Comics Bristol board with an image area of 9" x 15". Signed and dated 2014 in the image area, and signed again just under the image area. Social/Sharing |

Really fun how he uses broad strokes on the thin inks yet is delicate enough to have the white areas so detailed.
