DescriptionWhen John Jr first started his run on Daredevil I though it was an unlikely pairing. In the end though he did some of his most memorable work on that title, in large part due to his re-teaming with Al Williamson on inks. A great partnership.Social/Sharing |

Romita Jr at his peak!! Difficult to find a better representative sample of his run on DD! I love the way Williamson displays textures and chaos over Romita's pencils, and this page is a fantastic sample of it! Congratulations!!

I think a lot of credit should be given to Al Williamson and his inking over Romita Jr on his DD run. Williamson's inks really brought Romita Jr's penciling to the next level.

This is one of the most underrated collaborations in comic book art and I'll never understand why that was. Like you say Romita and Williamson were an unlikely pair and they produced work that was amazing and is a major high point of their respective careers. You are very lucky to have such a fine example of this great collaboration.

Wowzers, how could I never have noticed this page on CAF before? This is one of the best JRJR DD panel pages I've seen, amazing composition and inks.
