Description

Taking the characters before the debut of the Justice League and being allowed to forget about the current hodge-podge of continuity, Cooke crafted a beautiful story.

This page is terrific in the way the rescued boy is as terrified of his rescuer as he was of his captors.

If there was ever a series that was truly enhanced by DC’s ‘Absolute’ format, it was this one.
