Description

This is Michael Zulli's version of The Shredder, as originally seen in issues 31, 35 and 36 of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The story is called Soul's Winter and it is now collected in one volume. This piece measures 16 1/2" x 23 1/2", and it's heartbreakingly gorgeous. I think he used pen, ink, gouache, watercolor. . . and colored pencil.

The posing and color palette are exquisite. I love the subtle yet provocative emotion conveyed in Shredder's facial expression. Very nice, indeed!
