Description

This now may top the list as the crown jewel in my collection. This is a tonal pencil George Perez Deathstroke the Terminator I asked for. Originally was just getting a bust commission, but this is the final artwork........I think I soiled myself when I saw it. New Teen Titans #1 was the first DC title I ever "collected" (I was a Marvel Zombie back then). Owning one of the best DC villains done by his creator is more than I could have imagined back when I was 10 years old.

Is this really done in pencil. I didn't know a pencil work could look like a finished work. Congratulations on a sweet piece.

I've been reading his books since the 1970's, and I can honestly sayt that Perez never ceases to amaze me. And, though I was a bit older than 10, I too thought NTT was one of the coolest books around at the time, and characters like Deathstroke was one of the reasons why.

This piece just arrived today...it's SOOOOOO much better in person!! Now that I have it, I can say it is in pencil and marker. I am so happy right now!

Man, I didn't think George could draw Deathstroke any better than he did in the 80s but there is something about this piece that looks even better than how he drew him before.
