Description

These two pages, including the sound effects, are penciled and inked entirely by Michael Golden.

"The Player on the Other Side" remains one of my favorite stories drawn by Golden and certainly is at the top of my favorite scripts by Mike W. Barr, whose work I enjoy immensely.

Three great pages from a super return for Golden to The Batman........imagine if he'd been able to keep going for the entire book with inks like these first 3 pages.....wow......it would have been up there with Doctor Strange and the Avengers Annual!

I have two pages from this book as well. I talked with Golden about them and he could tell which pages he inked by the level of detail on the page. This was a really good book.

Artistically, these pages are as good as it gets when it comes to Golden. On par with any of his other seminal work, including the Austin inked Doctor Strange 55, Star Wars, and Gil inked Avengers Annual 10. Great pages.
