Description

Axus recalls the time he destroyed a monster in his glory days. The flashback depicts young Axus in every panel delivering blow after blow to the beast. Illustrated & written by the legendary BWS. This issue was brilliantly hand lettered using Barry's original type design. In my opinion one of the best pages from the series.

BWS storyteller was one of the best books of the 1990's and I think it contained some of his best work ever. Freebooters was my favorite series in the bunch and this page is a spectacular example of why BWS is a legend. His work from Storyteller has held up tremendously well and makes me hope Barry returns to comics soon, the art form would be better for it. Wonderful page!
