DescriptionJim was great to work with, and gave permission to post his image, which is copyright Jim Steranko / Supergraphics. When I requested my commission I envisioned a pinup - reminiscent of his 1973 Supergirls calendar (NSFW) - showing Catwoman caught red handed by Batman. He produced a beautifully balanced design, and I love how the bills flutter from the safe, above her kitty. Plus he gave just a hint of Batman, as a shadow approaches from behind. Social/Sharing |

This is wonderful on so many levels. The composition is so unique, the pose and the outfit are encapsulating.

Really nice. Like the tip of the hat to the Supergirls Calender and the claw-like fingers.

This is just STELLER! The first thing that popped in my noggin' was his classic supergirls calendar - this could have easily been from that time period. Stunning.

Steranko just gets better with age, and it must be such a privilege to be able to commission an artist of this magnitude.
