Crossword puzzle artwork (1960s) - 2

Original artwork for a children's crossword published in the UK in the 1960s. It is ink on thick board measuring approx 7.5 x 5.5 inches. The crossword in the centre is a paste-on. All of the images around the edge are hand-drawn.

Writing on the back of the board reveals it was published at least three times. These crosswords appeared as part of a syndicated feature called Peter Pippin's Puzzle Corner in various newspapers in the UK. This piece also appeared in a book called 'Peter Pippin's First Book of Puzzles' published by Target Books in 1972. I have provisionally given the artist as T.McQueen, but he may have just been the editor of the book
