Whenever his schedule frees up enough to allow for commissions, I jump on getting something by Chris Sprouse. With other artists I struggle to figure out what to ask for but since 1999, there's never a question as to what to get from Chris. Two words: Tom. Strong.

I love this commission! Knowing I have a background in microscopy, Chris fashioned the crawlies after images from electron micrographs. That little personal touch makes it all the more awesome for me!

There have been a lot of artists who have drawn the character over the past fourteen years but none of them come close IMHO to Sprouse's own version. As co-creator of that whole universe he gets my vote every time.
