Description

This page from She's Josie (1965) is the closest thing to a splash page I own.

It's easy to see how some of Dan DeCarlo's good girl art for Humorama made its way into his work at Archie. Confidentially, the Mystery Machine has nothing on that rattle trap of a gypsy wagon—look at that beast catch air!

DeCarlo's long time partner in his comic book capers, Rudy Lapick, inked this page. Lapick was also a friend of Gene Colan and inked Colan's work on Jughead's Time Police.

In Geepsy Standard Units (G.S.U.) this page measures a mötley 12 x 18.

I bought this page from Anthony at Anthony's Comic Book Art.

He's nice guy and ships quickly.
