DescriptionI was able to get on George's commission list for the Houston based Comicpalooza. He was a little worried about drawing an actual location in the real world but he pulled it off with SPADES. I know this piece of the River walk and he did it justice. Very nice!It means a little more cause it was an early Birthday Present for me as well. My Bday is May 28th so it's really cool to get this for that.

His commissions are better than I've ever seen them. It was interesting to hear him say that when ever he draws Donna now, he draws her with his neice's Mila's face.

I have never understood why out of all the characters that George draws, Donna, no longer looks like Donna. It's really bothered me. With Games, you could see (on the new work) that he still could draw Donna looking like Donna, so why did the majority of his convention pieces look so different?

Mila is amazingly beautiful anyway. She's a cosplayer and normally dresses at Donna anyway.

As always, outstanding work by George and it is always a neat touch to add a known geographic location that has some meaning to you to one of your commissions.

It's neat to bring in a place or theme to commission. If you look at my Scott McDaniel commission, he added in the 'Bronaugh's Circus' thinking it would be fun. It is and every once in a while, I think about doing a slew of circus oriented commissions.
