Description

As part of my Legion Shogun collection, I had two ideas for Element: Buddha and Shaolin.

Jan's the last survivor of Trom after Roxxas the Butcher killed most of the population, and he's spent most of his life wandering the planet and practicing the manipulation of the elements, but not for the sake of violence. As such, since Jan does get exercise from his wandering but he's not an overtly physical person, he has a rounder body type that isn't extreme.

The Legion comes to his planet to warn him Roxxas has escaped from his prison, and offers him a place in their ranks, but he turns them down because he doesn't agree with their methods. But when Jan does get attacked by Roxxas, he's almost killed. He's practiced his transmutation abilities to a fine degree but he's never used them for offensive or defensive purposes, so naturally he doesn't know how to defend himself or fight back. When the Legion does save him, he realizes that there are a lot of other people out there like Roxxas, and joins the Legion for the sake of protecting other life forms.

After this point would be Shaolin Jan.

I commissioned Miss Doran to do this at NYCC 2012, but due to the specialty of this piece and her work load it took a while for completion. She sent me a scan the other day and I love it.
