Dragon Con 2012

I had seen that Janet had a Jules Verne portrait on her table and it got me thinking how much I have always loved 20,000 leagues. I asked her for an illustrative looking piece of the Nautilus being pulled under by the giant squid.

I love the composition of this, especially since doing it vertically was such a surprise to me. The curves on this are almost like a pinup girl.

I really adore this piece. Favorite detail: the little water lines that go beyond the frames of the picture.
