ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #461 Eradicator story by Dan Jurgens & George Perez

One of my favorite storylines from the Superman titles late-eighties/early-nineties was The Eradicator tale, which of course ultimately led to The Last Son of Krypton character in "The Reign of the Supermen" arc after the death of Supes. The original Eradicator story carried over into several of the core titles, and in my opinion was one of the most-ambitious arcs the character has been a part of. This page, from ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #461 (1989) had Superman figuring out that the Eradicator was affecting his memory and controlling him, so what else can he do but destroy it? Dan Jurgens is at the top of his game here with his pencils, and the wonderful George Perez provided the inks, making this a stellar example from two quintessential Superman artists.
