Hard to put into words how happy I am with this piece. I commissioned this from Jim in the spring and avoided looking at his blog as summer approached b/c I wanted to wait to see it in person. Boy, was I surprised! I had requested Afrodisiac in the Danger Room getting Jean's attentions with a distraught Scott in the background. Jim liked my idea and asked about including an extra X-chick or two and mocking it up like a cover. I get more happy about this one every time I look at it. This is a piece I can't decide what I like best about: Dazzler's roller skates, Wolverine knocked out on the floor, the hand lettering, Charles and those telepathic lines, the posture of Emma and Psylocke, or the cigarette smoke, or Jean herself!
