This is one of those 'end of run' pages we occasionally get, where a creator tries to say goodbye to the character and put their work in a bit of context. In this case it was Gail Simone, who I thought had an excellent and thoughtful run on Wonder Woman. That alone makes it an interesting page but as it happened it turned out to also mark the end of a Wonder Woman era.

I say that because this page marks the end of the last arc featuring the post COIE 'Perez' Wonder Woman. The next issue was the renumbered WW600, which we now know introduced a different and new 'pants wearing' Wonder Woman (WW 600 - 614) herself superceded by Flashpoint and the nu52 relaunch of the entire DCU. So this is it until DC see sense and undo the nu52 nonsense, although the more time that passes the less it looks like a temporary experiment and the more it looks like The New World Order.

On balance I think this page makes a fitting and uplifting ending for Diana's story, beautifully executed by Nicola. She's smiling and looking hopeful with Artemis, her mother Queen Hippolyta, Steve Trevor and Etta Candy all by her side. Themselves possibly her most important supporting characters. (Also present but less important in this context are the Gorilla knights and Achilles).

I think Diana said it best on this page "I am Diana, Princess of the Amazons. And this is the life I am blessed to have led." I hope we see her back again sometime.
