Description

There seems to be quite a story around this splash... if you are to believe it. That Joe Simon asked Al Williamson to do a story for Adventures of the Fly and hated it. Simon then called Angelo Torres and asked if he'd do the story; instead Angelo went over to see Al and they did the story together. Simon then believed Angelo did it... for years. Or so the story goes.

This is the splash to that story from Adventures of the Fly #2 entitled One of Our Skyscrapers is Missing (page 11) and to me this is pretty obviously by Williamson. I own the entire story and it is definitely penciled by Al. No doubt. A pretty little job that cost me a fortune.
