Description
Harvey's comic Blast Off #1 had some amazing art in it. Three Kirby stories inked by Williamson, a Crandall job inked by Williamson and a Williamson story inked by Krenkel and Torres. What a book! Oddly enough, the comic was published in 1965, however the comics code stamp on the back of Space Court is 1958. What kept it in inventory is something only Joe Simon could explain. Regardless, great figures, classic Krenkle cities and a beauty to behold.

When I was a kid, my friend and I were camping out in my pup tent in the backyard.  We decided to go in the house for something to eat, so I got out the flashlight and we headed in.  Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone move on the other side of the neighbor's yard, from the corner of their house to behind their little sheet metal shed.  Terrified, but not wanting to appear so, I pointed my beam over there and told whoever it was to "Come out!"  They came out, all right!  It was the mentally unstable old man who lived next door wielding a chunk of tree limb over his head, b!tching about us shining that light in their windows.  I almost wee'd myself.

Anyway, to make a short story long, maybe that's what happened to our scientist from this issue.  He shined his beam in the Martian's window!  This is a fabulous page, and an amazingly rare find!
