Wow, Richard!!!That is great how you are able to capture the light source precisely. I hope you don’t mind if I ask: What kind of pencils are you using?

Hi Shelton - Thank you again! I use 0.5 Pentel leads in mechanical pencils. I also use some graphite pencils that are all graphite, no wood, made by Koh-I-Noor to get really dark when I want to. The 0.5 leads are F's, HB's and 2B's in three separate holders. I started using these so I wouldn't have to stop and sharpen pencils. The all-graphite leads go from HB to 8B. With this Xmen cover of Storm I also used a kneaded eraser on her hair. I drew it in, then erased some of it out to get the 'light' effect. I've also always really liked 'texture' in drawing so I enjoy making leather look different from skin or hair etc. BUT all this rendering IS time consuming. Talk to you again. - Take care. - Rich

Thanks Richard!!!The level of patience and concentration to accomplish such detailed rendering is superhuman!!!!. . . Zen!!!
