I've always loved the art nouveau image of the Rocketeer, so when I saw this brilliant piece done by Eric, the concept was just too cool to pass up. Eric was kind enough to include a study sketch he had done of Rocket Raccoon as well. Thanks, Eric!

And thank you to fellow CAF member Matthew West for putting me in touch with Eric and helping me to bring this piece home.

UPDATE: On April 27th, 2014, James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy shared this piece on his Facebook wall. Great recognition for this wonderful piece and it's creator, Eric W. Meador!
