DescriptionI remember clearly the anticipation I felt opening up this issue waiting for the return of the Lizard! I was 12 years old and the John Romita Sr./ Jim Mooney run of this era was, and is, still the best the series has ever been. I know that this hobby is very much Nostalgia generated, and I make no bones about that but this page was literally speaking to me. I know a lot of you understand what I mean by that!This page may not contain Spidey or Peter Parker but it is one of very few splashes done by the Romita /Mooney team and it is a beauty. Man Mountain Marko, Silvermane, Dr.Curt Conners and the Lizard!All I can say is WOW! Happy Birthday to me! Social/Sharing |

Doesn't matter who's on the page or who's not on the page! This is a great, great splash by Romita! And I love those Mooney inks! Congratulations on a great birthday present.

One of my favorite stories growing up. I loved how the story of that tablet weaved in and out of several ASM issues only to come to a conclusion in the next issue. I must have read them a hundred times over the next couple of years. It's all about nostalgia with them for me, so can relate completely! Congrats on a great splash, sans Spidey. Beautiful art by Romita and Mooney always helps, too!
