Description

It's no secret that George Perez's art is a joy to behold, such is his enthusiastic thirst for details!
I had been looking for a piece that really showcased how incredibly talented he is, when I found this perfect cover for Crossgen's Solus 3!
It had been on and off CAF a few times already and I had decided that, if ever it was available again , I would not let it go.
So, here it is!

As is so often the case, the printed version doesn't do it justice, especially with the colors.

But I really think full credit must also go to Rick Magyar who does a fantastic job on inks! I mean, look, for instance at the inner structure of the shield, with all its nuances, or the incredibly detailed foilage. A true labour of love!

Absolutely gorgeous! Perez, of course, puts an insane amount of detail in his work and this cover is no exception. But the inking by Rick Magyar is a delightful surprise--Clean, precise and perfectly laid down!
