DescriptionThe Not-so-Dark Knight and a smiling Robin.Simpler times. This might have been used for a lunchbox, if I remember the auction description correctly. I never confirmed it, or have seen a lunchbox or other merchandise with this image. Still, a pretty cool piece. Social/Sharing |

I remember this image well but I can't put my finger on where exactly. This is a truly beautiful vintage Giordano piece. A great example from the peak of his career. Congrats !

The good old days when Bruce and Dick still liked each other. This is Uber-Classic Batman and Robin. A tremendous find.

I have to comment on this piece, because it brings back so many awesome memories. Dick Giordano's classic pen work evokes bright colors on shiny covers, those wonderful giant $1.00 books and the smell of newsprint.
I love this illustration for so many reasons.
