Description

When I was reading those pocket-sized comic anthologies back then, these were often weirdly assembled with unconnected stories themes or stories published in the wrong order... Strangely enough, I thought this idea worked pretty well with the War books and I didn't even think the inclusion of Tomahawk in these was at odds with the general theme...

In fact, I liked it so much that Frank Thorne quickly joined my Top 3 War artists with Joe Kubert and Russ Heath! He's still there for me, mind you: his unique style perfectly suits the tales...

Oh, and when I had a chance to find the US versions, I obviously didn't mind the Joe Kubert or Neal Adams covers either!
