Black Metal is one of the best dark humor titles ever. It tells the story of twin brothers Shawn and Sam Stronghand, and their journey to Hell. The comic is very funny, and Chuck BB’s art in the series is fantastic. The brothers seemed to be a perfect fit for this theme of commissions, so I asked Chuck to work his magic, and I was blown away with the result! Etrigan and the twins are tearing it up in Hell, and all three look extremely pissed off. And I just love the frenetic energy in this commission! Huge thanks to Chuck for knocking this one out of the park for me!
Even though the Stronghand brothers have the Sword of Atoll here, and have been conquering Hell in their own book, Etrigan is a demon created by the all-powerful Jack Kirby! How can you beat a Kirby-powered character? Ha! But honestly I think they’d just team-up to take down Satan together. Because, let’s face it, a team-up between Etrigan and the Stronghands would be the metalest metal ever.
