Description

Dan Reed had a style that lends itself well to horror, the macabre, and noir-ish tales. I was curious to see how he would render the fetishistic terrorist villain originally created by Jim Steranko. I was very happy with the results. A few years after this, I got another sketch by Dan, of the Star Wars villain Asajj Ventress (you can view that in my Star Wars gallery). If you ever see Dan at a convention, be sure to get a sketch from him, or at least go up to his table and say "hello." He usually brings copies of his landscape paintings with him. Those are well worth a look.
