A very nice Joe Quesada piece of art that comes from the Darkness trading card set, from the heyday of those TCs. As many on CAF, I loved those for the original art they offered, not being limited to reprinting existing art.

While not crazy about it, I liked Darkness when it came out and though it has fallen out of favor nowadays, the title has featured a list of amazing artists. And you can't fault the original design which owes much to the Predator.

This one is a nice little gem that will go along very well with my Jae Lee Darkness card.

Quesada art here is superbly creepy and nicely enhanced by Batt's expert inks. Quesada's art is harder and harder to come by nowadays so getting a piece from one of his busiest period is nice. It was also a bit more round then when his current art I find more rough, though always excellent.

Very cool ! I didn't know about Quesada drawing some of the Top Cow characters and it looks fantastic !
