Description

I picked up this page based solely on Gene's masterful storytelling skills. I don't think anybody else would bother with it, since we only get one panel with Dracula's hand. But the way Gene moves the camera around and stages the sequence really sells the creepy, claustrophobic mood. Nobody did this stuff better!

Each panel moves you cinematically...and adds emotion and mood until the final panel with Dracula. Fantastic!

Ah, the cheery, good old days of wannabe rapists. This page is so beautifully drawn that I could live with it if you ever need to sell. I am going to try and get a few Colans in the next year or two. I like the inking on this one.
