Stunning page by the great Gene Colan and Bob Smith! Love that opening panel, with the car parked outside the cliffside house, it's such a classic set-up scene. Then we follow the couple from the car into the house...And the story unfolds from there. Gene Colan was one of the truly great comic artists and he knew how to tell a story visually. He never failed to draw the reader into a story and lead them where he wanted them to go. Bob Smith's inks here complement Colan's pencils well. There's a lushness to his brushwork that really brings the page to life. Great pick-up, congratulations!
