Description

The late 1980s Janus Directive storyline wove together all of DC's quasi-governmental agencies in a story that crossed over among various comics series.

Here's the last page of Suicide Squad #28 where the villain Kobra stands (well, sits...) revealed. Along the right margin is a note from writer John Ostrander to inker Karl Kesel "Karl -- feel free to add more stuff on the girls -- designs on faces, jewelry, etc. -- have fun -- John." I hope he had indeed had fun bedazzling these dazzlers.
