Nick Cardy - Bob McLeod - Marvel Two-in-One 25 Commission (Ink Wash) - Thing & Iron Fist vs General Chonga

Update: Like so many others, I was deeply saddened to learn of Nick Cardy's passing this week. Nick's work was (and is) awe inspiring. I am humbled that such a great talent contributed this drawing to my collection. To this day, I have to pinch myself that this commission actually happened. I'm posting this 'remastered' scan so that everyone can better appreciate the man's incredible artwork.

Nick's pencils were started late June 2004. Bob's inks were finished late October 2004.

Mr. Cardy drew two covers for Marvel in the 1970s, one of which featured Iron Fist. That seemed like a good starting point for a Marvel Two-in-One 25 commission (a book that featured the Thing and Iron Fist against warriors from the nation of "Kaiwann").
