Description

Purchased from Neal at an appearance at Winnipeg’s annual Central Canada Comic Convention in November 2013. It was a pre-drawn portrait that Neal had on display behind his table. When I asked Neal about his remastering SHADOWS IN ZAMBOULA he stated that he still has thumbnails for all the pages and that he intends to do all the inking of a revised version himself: "Otherwise there is no point in resurrecting it at all." Neal says he is making arrangements with Dark Horse on this, and that it will go back to the status it originally had when he was working on it for Roy Thomas — it will have no deadline.

This original is 8 1/2 x 11" on bristol board.
