DescriptionI'd seen this great variant cover that Bob Layton'd done for Iron Man #225 on his site. It had Iron Man tangling with Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man. ~Super~ cool. I got me thinking of something similar, specifically Superman fighting Luthor and the Brainiac. That quickly changed, though, into the classic Perez era JLA instead taking on appropriate Marvel counterparts as a part of a grand free-for-all mash-up!Knowing that I had asked Mitch to tackle Superman, Alex was the easy choice for Wonder Woman. And did he deliver! Diana's face is so classic it hurts! The glint in Thanos's eye is perfect! And I can't remember the last time Creel was so luggish :) Poses are spot on. Big happy all around. Who to have WW fight though took a bit. Thanos made sense, the mad god and all. But Absorbing Man seemed to have just the right amount of thuggishness to have her pound on. I hope to, one day, fill out the complete Justice League roster :) Original size 11x17 Social/Sharing |

Wow! This is a stunner. Mitch and Alex share the same style for sure. Kevin, do you have contact info for Alex? I think he would do an awesome Nova piece.
