Just can�t get enough of Steve Mannion�s Fearless Dawn characters or his dinosaurs. So when I can get both on one piece, it�s pretty much a no-brainer for me. I believe Steve posted this as a Kickstarter piece. Since it wasn�t technically for sale and, at the time, I really didn�t understand the whole Kickstarter concept, I never bothered to go after it. What I didn�t know was that my buddy Brett Bjornsrud had actually ended up with the piece. And when Brett had to raise some cash, he posted the piece for sale right when I happened to be browsing CAF. I immediately emailed him and secured the piece before anyone else could take it away from me a second time. I�m still not really sure how this Kickstarter thing works, but I�m more than happy to scoop up pieces like this second hand. Especially since I didn�t get a chance to pick anything up from Steve at Big Wow this year. Big Wow (when it was still called SuperCon) was the show where I first met Steve, and I think I�ve gotten something from him every single year there. This year I was too busy manning my booth and never even got a chance to go see him. So being able to snag this piece from CAF definitely made up for it. Thanks again to my pal Brett and of course to the fabulously talented Mr. Mannion for putting Fearless Dawn, Helga, and a giant T-Rex all on the same mind blowing piece!

That was the piece that gave me the idea to my "Batman and..." commission from Steve! Seems like it found a good home!
