DescriptionRecently, Stunner made an appearance in the Superior Spider-Man title, and of course Kaine has been dominating his own title in "Scarlet Spider," so I thought it was a perfect time to bring out this page.Co-created by Mark Bagley, Stunner (Angelina Brancale) was a perfect choice for a revival, because her roots are very much tied up with Doc Ock. Normally a dumpy middle-aged woman, when plugged into a VR machine, she transforms into a beautiful, well-muscled force of nature who adores the tentacled genius who currently resides in Peter Parker's body. I think Bagley draws female characters beautifully in general, but in the case of Stunner, he went above and beyond, especially in this page and the other one from this issue that I have posted. And Kaine is a fascinating character who has found a very firm place in the Spider-Man mythos. I love his old look --- it was much more mysterious and sinister. It tickles me that there are currently two Peter Parker bodies out there, but no Peter Parker. But it is interesting to wonder how the Spidey writers will handle the Kaine clone body now that the "Scarlet Spider" series is ending. Hmmm ..... Enjoy! Social/Sharing |

Nice page, Paul. I really like that Kaine image in the bottom right panel - looks very menacing. Too bad the Scarlet Spider series is ending but they say Kaine will be around - we'll see! Congrats on a sweet piece.
