Description

I got David Finch to do this piece at the FanExpo in 2013 first thing in the morning. It just so happened that Joe Prado was around and I asked if he would be willing to ink it for me. Not only did he agree, he was super enthused to do it for me. It was Joe's first time inking over David's pencils. All summer long I knew I had to get a piece by Finch. Then the idea of Hulk VS Doomsday came to mind. Man does this piece pop!! Thanks David and Joe.

I originally posted David's pencils on this site but it was a bad pic, so when I got the inks from Joe, I decided to delete the pencils and show you guys the final product.

So, who wins? Hulk or Doomsday?

This is superb on so many levels, from idea to execution! When I read the "Death of Superman" story arc, I saw Doomsday as a DC version of the Hulk - incredibly strong with amazing stamina and endurance as well as overwhelming rage! In some ways they are mirror images of each other. So it is only fitting they should square off! Who wins? Tough to call... depends on which version of the Hulk we're talking about. Phenomenal! Love the whole idea of Hulk vs. Doomsday! My money's on Hulk to win.
