(May 1942) (Quality Comics) Doll Man serves up a hotfoot to a Japanese rifleman with good old American Safety matches. This detailed pencil preliminary was used as a color guide for the Feature Comics #56 cover. The drawing has numerous color notes written to the engraver as well. The character line-up running down the left edge features portraits of Mickey Finn, Lala Palooza, Spin Shaw, and Poison Ivy. (8-3/4" x 12")
