Description

Years back Gris did some hand-crafted miniature "books" composed of small panels of original art. I was fortunate to pick one up before he made a name for himself. I have the entire story (9 panels plus a painted cover) framed together, in sequence. This is my favorite panel. The influences of Tim Burton, Ed Gorey, and Berke Breathed (Bloom County) are apparent in this panel.
